Indian Bank Probationary Officer Notification 2016 : Indian Bank has released notification for the recruitment of probationary officer posts. As per the notification, the applications for this recruitment will start from December 6th. Indian Bank is inviting applications from eligible applicants to fill up 324 vacancies.
These vacancies are distributed reserved and unreserved category as per government rules. Under reservation category applicants belong to different categories have to refer notification to know vacancies offered for their respective category.
According to the information provided in the Indian Bank Probationary Officer Notification 2016, a total of 165 vacancies are allotted for general/ unreserved category and remaining vacancies are divided and shared for reservation categories.
The vacancy allotment for reservation categories are as follows, 87 vacancies are distributed for OBC category. 48 vacancies for SC categories, and for the candidates of ST category a total of 24 vacancies are shared.
In order to apply Indian Bank PO recruitment 2016, the applicants should have passed Degree/Graduation with minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying marks are not same for all categories. Candidates belonging to General/OBC category should have passed with minimum 60% marks whereas for SC/ST/PWD the qualifying marks are relaxed to 55%.
The applying candidate must be over 20 years and should not have crossed 28 years. The cut off date for minimum and upper age limit of the candidates apply for Indian Bank Probationary Officer recruitment 2016 is July 1st. There will be relaxation in age for the applicants of SC/ST/PWD and other reserved categories as per Indian Bank norms.
The applicants who possess the required eligibility criteria need to apply by online. The Indian Bank PO online application will be made available for the applying candidates www.indianbank.co.in. The applicants can only get access to the registration of online application until December 22nd.
The applying candidates will be asked to pay application fee during the registration process. A sum of Rs.600 has to be paid by candidates of general/OBC categories. As for the SC/ST/PWD candidates, the application fee is only Rs.100. The payment of application fee has to be done before December 22nd.
The selection process for these 324 probationary officers includes online test followed by an interview. In the online test, the applicants have to face preliminary and mains examination.
As per the notification, preliminary exam of India Bank PO recruitment 2016 will be held on January 22nd, 2017. The results of this exam will be released on January 30th, 2017. The candidates who are qualified in prelims need to appear for the mains exam which is going to be conducted on February 28th, 2017.
