NEET PG 2017 Results : National Board of Examinations has successfully conducted National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduation from December 5th to December 13 at various centres across India. The entrance test was conducted in both morning and afternoon session.

The morning session of NEET PG 2017 exam started from 9.00 AM to 01.45 PM. Whereas the afternoon session started at 2.45 PM and Closed at 7.30 PM. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduation question paper contains 300 questions.

As per the notification, the minimum qualifying marks to be scored by candidates belonging to General category is 50 %. Whereas for the reservation category qualifying score is different that is for SC/ST and OBC category the qualifying score is 40%. The Persons with Disability candidates have to score 45% to get qualified.

The examination is conducted to select students for admissions in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. NEET PG 2017 was in online mode (computer based test). Earlier the students who were looking for admissions in MD/MS and PG Diploma courses had to write AIPGMEE and DNB CET exams. But this year, Supreme Court cancelled

But this year, Supreme Court cancelled those exams and order to conduct NEET PG exam to selected students. As per the supreme court order, the entrance test was held for 13 days starting from December 5th, 2016 to December 13th, 2016.

The students who have registered for NEET through online mode from September 26th to November 7 have appeared for the exam at their respective centres. All the students who have successfully completed their exam are now in search for the NEET PG 2017 results to know whether he/she qualified or not.

According to NEET notification released in September 2016, the results are expected to release on or before January 15th, 2017. The results for all papers will be updated at National Board of Examinations official website that is

NEET PG 2017 merit list will be based on the marks scored in the entrance exam. The merit list will be displayed on the examination board after the results are declared. The merit list of each category will have a total of five seats available for the allotment.

The students who have qualified in the NEET PG 2017 exam have to attend counselling where they will be allowed to select colleges and courses for the admission. The NEET PG 2017 counseling dates will be announced soon on the official website.
