The Milkha Singh’s wax statue crafted from over 300 measurements and photographs by several highly-skilled artists from Madame Tussauds. Also, Milkha Singh Said, “When I visited London with my team-mates, we visited Madame Tussauds and we saw statues of world personalities. I also thought one day my statue also will be displayed.” Finally, his dream come true, Milkha Singh’s Wax Statue unveiled and we can see in the Madame Tussauds’ museum in Delhi On December 1. Moreover, for his excellent performance, he was awarded Padma Shri in 1959. Also, he won so many races like 200m, 400m etc. He Secured Gold Medal in 200m, 400 m race in 1958 Asian Games. However, in 1958 Common Wealth Games he won 1st place in 440 yards race and got the Gold medal. Later, in 1962 Asain Games he got 1st place in 400m, 4 x 400 m relay and secured a Gold medal. Also, he won Silver Medal in 1964 Calcutta National Games in 400 m race.

Milkha Singh also known as The Flying Sikh. Also, Milkha Singh and his daughter Sonia Sanwalka both wrote his autography.  THe title of the book is “The Race Of My Life”. The Spectacular pose that we saw in the above picture is from the 1958 Common Wealth Games. The New Delhi Museum located at the famous Regal Cinema building in Connaught Place, central Delhi.

Already his statues are in Punjab One 28-feet statue at Jarkhar Village in Ludhiana and other one 16-feet statue at Ghall Kalan village in Moga. Also, Singh said, “It is a great honor to have my statue alongside some top personalities”.
