Singapore Train Collision Updates: 25 People Injured in MRT Train Collision
The injuries occur for Two employees of the SMRT and nearly 23 passengers in the Singapore train collision which took place at the Joo Koon station. On the whole, 25 people got injuries in the Singapore Train Collision. Most of the passengers are having moderate injuries. They have been shifted to the local hospitals and given treatment. Some of the passengers who have moderate injuries are treated and discharged. Further, there are no much severe injuries to the passengers.
The officials took to Twitter that there was a train fault. A faulty train was stalled at the Joo Koon station at 8:18 AM. The train has some technical issues. As a result, it was present at the Joo Koon station. Soon, a second train has stopped behind the faulty train. After a minute, the train unexpectedly moved forward. Then, the second train has come in contact with the stationary train which is present at the Joo Koon metro station. The SMRT officials are present at the place where the incident took place.
25 People Injured in MRT Train Collision in Singapore
Also, they are in contact with the injured people for necessary assistance. The officials of SMRT are investigating the incident. After the investigation report comes out, the cause for the Singapore train collision will be known. Also, the officials said that the trains are suspended for two hours between the Boon Lay and Tuas Link stations. Hope no such incidents take place in the future.
The officials must take necessary precautions of the technical issues which occur in MRT. The officials of SMRT Corporation took to Twitter to add 25 minutes train travel time when commuting on NSL.
