Commonwealth Youth Games 2017: Here is good news for all Indians. In Commonwealth Youth Games 2017 India finishes at 7th Place and wins 11 Medals including four golds, one silver, and 6 Bronze medals at Nassau, Bahamas. Of Course, which is the sixth edition of Commonwealth Youth Games 2017.

On starting day of Commonwealth Youth Games 2017 i.e., on July 18, India kicked off with four medals including one gold and three Bronze medals with Judokas. Soni picked up India’s First Gold medal in the 73 Kg category event beating Australia player Uros Nikolic. Later, on the same day in the 60kg category, Ashish won a Bronze medal against England’s Harry Zane-Prosser.
Whereas among the girls 48kg and 57kg categories Antim Yadav and Rebina Devi Chanam won another two Bronze medals for India. It is the great start up to the India in Commonwealth Youth Games 2017. Of Course, this is not the end in boxing and Tennis, India won another seven medals: 4 Medals in boxing and 3 Medals in Tennis.

Also, In the boxing light flyweight 49kg category, Sachin Siwach bagged Gold medal beating James Nathan Probert of Wales. While in the lightweight 60kg and 51 kg categories Jony and Ekta won Silver and Bronze Medal. Jony and Ekta won over the Australian Ella Jade Boot and Chloe Louise Watson.

In boys bantamweight 56kg category, Muhammed Etash Khan added one Bronze Medal In boxing. Another Interesting news about the Commonwealth Youth Games 2017 is in Tennis across all three categories in singles and mixed doubles India won three Medals. Siddhanth Banthia and Zeel Desai played well in Tennis. Siddhant and Desai claimed one Bronze medal in singles over Cypriot Eleftherios Neos. While the Banthia and Desai took one more medal in the mixed doubles.
