IAAF World Athletics Championships 2017: Davinder Singh Becomes 1st Indian To Qualify For Javelin Throw Finals Interestingly, India’s Davinder Singh becomes first Indian to qualify for Javelin Throw Finals in IAAF World Athletics Championships 2017. He is in the fifth position among the 16 competitors in his group while the overall is 7th. Alos, he received a bronze medal in the Asian Athletic Championships in Bhubaneswar. He added to the reporters, “Injury will be OK.
